Sean George is a Project Director with First Community Development. In this capacity, Sean provides strategic planning, feasibility analysis, and project management services for major fundraising campaigns of $1 million or more in the Southeast United States. Sean works with corporate organizations like Chambers of Commerce, Economic Development Councils, Downtown Revitalization Authorities, and other selected non-profit organizations.
Prior to his role at First Community Development, Sean served as the Manager of Membership Services for the Gwinnett County Chamber of Commerce. He was hired to build out and implement a comprehensive strategic plan on membership retention and increased retention from the low 70’s to high 80’s in less than 14 months. Sean also oversaw and built out a comprehensive plan on young professionals and implemented a successful six month leadership institute for metro Atlanta.
Sean was born in Staten Island, NY and raised in Buford, GA. Sean has a Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Theology, and Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus in Leadership. Sean is a licensed Chaplain, through the Anglican Church, and provides spiritual care for hospitals, senior community centers, and hospice care centers in the metro Atlanta area.
